Bundaberg Regional Art Gallery

Parking

Main entrance

The Bundaberg Regional Art Gallery’s main entrance is accessed via five number of stairs. A permanent access ramp is available to the left of the main entrance to the Gallery. A doorbell is located at the top of the ramp and Gallery staff and volunteers will open this door to provide Gallery access.

Inside the Gallery

Gallery One and The Vault contemporary art space, both located on the ground floor, are accessible to wheelchairs and prams.

Gallery Two and the Workshop room is only accessible by five flights of stairs, with four stairs on the first flight and three stairs on the second flight with six stairs, the third flight with six stairs, fourth flight, three stairs and the fifth flight eights stairs.

Toilets

The Gallery toilets are located on the ground floor. There is one wheel chair accessible toilet for men and one for women.

Baby Change Tables

A baby change table and nappy bin is located in the men’s and women’s toilets.

Breastfeeding

The Gallery is part of the Breastfeeding Welcome Here Program run by the Australian Breastfeeding Association. This means that visitors can expect:

  •  A welcoming attitude from staff and management
  • A smoke free environment
  • Room to move a pram

Main Entrance

The lift can be accessed by walking through the Visitor Information Centre on the ground floor as it is located at the rear of the Centre. It can also be accessed by walking through the walkway located to the right of the Subway food outlet and then turning left at the end of the walkway.

Inside the Gallery

The Gallery and Memorial are accessible to wheelchairs and prams.

Toilets

The Gallery has one wheelchair accessible toilet.

Baby change tables

A baby change table and nappy bin is located in the toilet.
