The Bundaberg Region has a growing Public Art exhibition with over 79 pieces, encompassing mediums in mosaics, sandstone, marine stainless steel, ferrous cement and recycled materials. Artworks range from small to large and are worth the time to visit. When in Bundaberg, sited overlooking the Burnett River in the Riverside Parklands, you can enjoy a leisurely walk among the artworks then proceed along Bourbong Street where many more pieces can be seen. The “Vision”, a mosaic creation, can be seen on the external wall of the Cultural Centre at Bargara.
Childers has a magnificent collection of artworks in the main street. Gin Gin showcases artworks in the centre parkland of the highway. This allows visitors an opportunity to pause in their travels and amble through the well maintained parkland to view the various artworks.
